Pain Killers - Beware

Dr. Bellonzi's approach is different than a conventional medical approach.
It's called functional medicine. Instead of just addressing the symptoms of the pain, you attempt to locate an underlying cause for the pain and address that and he has had success at eliminating chronic pain from some people.
Since 1998, Dr. Bellonzi has practiced in the Austin area. He works with athletes at every level to provide sports conditioning and rehabilitation.

What is hydrocodone ??

I am addicted to the pain killer hydrocodone .

I want to stop but every time I do I get really bad withdrawals such as sweating and shaking, can't sleep, etc.

I was wondering if anyone out there has been through this on their own without going to a treatment center.

If so please tell me what to do for her and how long it took for the withdrawals to go away!!!!

HELP!!!!

Wake up pills ???

A June 2000 study published in Psychopharmacologia studied the drug's effects on people's abilities to accomplish demanding tasks despite a lack of sleep.

At the United States Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory in Fort Rucker, Alabama, six pilots were kept awake continuously for two forty-hour periods.

They were given Modafinil in one session and a Placebo in the other.

The pilots were then evaluated in helicopter simulator flights, resting electroencephalograms (EEGs), and mood questionnaires.

The drug lessened the effects of sleep deprivation in four of six flight maneuvers tested compared to the placebo.

It also reduced slow-wave EEG activity (when one begins to fall asleep, EEG begins to slow) and decreased self-reported problems with mood and alertness.

Watch the Matrix scene when Morpheus shows Neo two pills: a blue and a red one. If Neo chooses the blue pill, he will wake up in his bed anf forget about everything that happened. If he takes the red one he will see "how far the rabbit whole goes":

Pushing drugs !!

For years, drug companies (pharmaceuticals AKA Big Pharma) have been taking the public for a costly ride and making a killing in the process -- seriously, a lot of people are dying as a result.

In this documentary, find out how Big Pharma's clever politics and marketing schemes are tailored specifically to empty out our bank accounts and force us to sell-off our homes if need be, for drugs that would otherwise cost a few pesos elsewhere in the world.

But it doesn't stop there:

With so much profit potential glistening in their eyes, these companies have little incentive to provide cures.

Rather, they recycle old drugs, modifying them ever so slightly (often resulting in deadly cocktails), for the single purpose of acquiring new patents.

Thus, renewing their monopoly over pricing.

But that's only the beginning - Watch it and see fotr yourself :

Fat ? Eat Hoodia !

It looks like a cactus, but is actually a milkweed-like plant that grows in Botswana and the Kalahari Desert in Southwestern Africa.

The Hoodia has been used by the South African tribes for many years.
They used this plant when they were hunting.

Hoodia helped to prolong hunting trips by suppressing hunger, increasing energy levels and even improving libido!

The secret of the Hoodia is
a molecule , P57,who is believed to be responsible for Hoodias' ability to suppress appetite, increase energy levels, and help with weight loss.

I MUST TRY IT ...

Too much vitamin C - Good or Bad ??

I had been taking vitamin C tablets as they seemed to prevent me getting regular colds etc. However, I've heard there has been some research, which suggests that vitamin C supplements can cause blood vessels to clog up.

I would be very interested to have your comments.

Thx...
